Koskisen has PEFC certification for the origin of wood. It means that Koskisen will make sure that all the wood it uses comes from sustainably managed forests. All the materials from the harvested tree are used in further processing such as logs for plywood manufacturing and harvesting waste, ie. brushwood and stubs as bio fuel when possible. We also make sure that the forests harvested are re-planted. Koskisen itself plants over one million seedlings annually.
